An Okanagan woman is speaking out about how police handled her sexual assault report last year. The Kelowna detachment has apologized for failing to initially investigate properly. However, now there are questions about whether police are doing enough to ensure future cases are handled correctly. Because of the nature of the investigation, Global News has chosen not to identify the woman.
