Experts say major floods on B.C.’s South Coast could have a devastating impact on salmon stocks. Salmon spawn in the Fraser River, but when torrents of water came rushing down the river and its tributaries, they scoured the riverbed, disturbing millions of fish eggs and opening them to predation.
