Jerry V. DeMarco, Commissioner of the Environment and Sustainable Development, released a report of its findings on Canada’s fight against climate change on Thursday. DeMarco said that Canada was once a “leader” in the fight against climate change, but “missed opportunities” now puts Canada last among G7 nations. He added that “reporting on actions to achieve the federal goals was poor,” adding that “they did not report results for nearly half their actions.”
