Newfoundland flooding: 100mm of rain forecasted for province Wednesday, minister says

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Elvis Loveless, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure for Newfoundland and Labrador, said forecasters are calling for upwards of 100 millimetres of rain on Wednesday. “To say it’s a unique weather event is an understatement,” Loveless said.
