Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole criticized the Liberal government on Wednesday for being “shockingly silent” in response to recent comments by environmentalist David Suzuki about climate inaction. Suzuki had said that “pipelines will be blown up” if political leaders do not act on climate change. O’Toole asked “what is happening in this country” when the prime minister does not condemn “language like that.”
