In a video posted online on Sunday, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki called the situation at the border with Belarus a “hybrid war” waged with the “backroom support of Vladimir Putin.” Morawiecki said Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko’s aim is to destabilize western Europe, adding “today the target is Poland, but tomorrow it will be Germany, Belgium, France or Spain.”
