‘Good news’ for Abbotsford, B.C. residents as flood gates partially open, mayor says

Abbotsford Mayor Henry Braun said on Saturday that floodgates have partially opened at the Barrowtown Pump Station and started releasing water from the Sumas River to the Fraser River. The mayor said that was “good news” as the flow breaching the Sumas River dike has lessened.
