Ontario Education Minister Stephen Lecce laid out on Thursday the COVID-19 protection strategy for schools. That included restricting lunches and breaks for classroom cohorts only, elementary schools to be required to move school-wide assemblies to a virtual-only system starting in January, and students will be provided with take-home testing kits beginning this week.
