Demolition of the former Royal Canadian Legion Branch 133 in Cobourg is underway.
Work began on the building on Orr St. on Tuesday.
It’s expected the demolition project will take several days to complete.
TVM Group owns the property and is recycling as much material as possible.
The new Legion building is directly across from the former site.
Once demolition is completed, the site will be used as a parking lot exclusively for Legion members.
