When asked what he told U.S. lawmakers about dropping the PCR test requirement for travellers entering Canada, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said a “number” of issues were discussed, but the top priority remains “ensuring the safety of Canadians and following science.” He added the government is taking steps to loosen requirements but keep Canadians safe.
