New Brunswick’s chief public health officer Dr. Jennifer Russell said on Wednesday that despite circuit breaker restrictions in Zone 1 of the province, COVID-19 cases remain elevated, particularly in the greater Moncton area. Russell said the outbreak should have been “significantly reduced” by this point “if everyone was following the circuit break restrictions by limiting their close contacts to their immediate household.”
