Speaking to reporters on Monday after the U.S. House passed President Joe Biden’s signature $1-trillion infrastructure bill over the weekend, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said the bill “sells itself,” adding that communities “never needed to be persuaded” to upgrade local infrastructure.
