An interpreter’s long road from Kabul to Canada

‘The West Block’ host Mercedes Stephenson speaks with a former Canadian Armed Forces Afghan interpreter called Maroof – whose name has been changed to protect his identity — about he and his family’s escape from Afghanistan. After not being able to get on one of the flights out of Kabul before the Taliban seized control, Maroof and his family escaped to Pakistan before now arriving safely in Canada.
