The world’s first antiviral pill for treating COVID-19 has been approved in the United Kingdom. Merck says Molnupiravir reduces COVID-19 symptoms and speeds up recovery. Infectious diseases physician Dr. Andrew Morris spoke with Global News about the pill and how it works.
