Alberta’s opioid poisoning crisis approaching deadly record, data shows

Alberta is on track for its deadliest year of opioid poisonings. The province has released new numbers that show, on average, four people are dying each day. As Morgan Black reports, it’s causing additional strain on a health-care system that’s already fighting another ongoing emergency.
