U.S. resident who received 1st passport with ‘X’ gender marker says it’s legal recognition

Dana Zzyym, the non-binary U.S. resident who sued the government for the right to declare their gender as “X” in a passport, discussed Wednesday the importance of receiving that identification, saying it was legal recognition and that they get to be themselves.
