October 27 is Purple shirt day, meant to raise awareness about child abuse, children’s rights the work the Children’s Aid Society does. But the organization says it’s found increasing incidence of bias when it comes to reporting crimes against children. Shelly Lair, from the Kawartha-Haliburton CAS, spoke to Global News Morning Peterborough host Teresa Kaszuba about the issue.
