The Welcome to Canada Project was created by Ashlynn Fisher and her college friend as a way to welcome refugees coming to Canada from Afghanistan. Their goal is to bring a smile to the faces of children with Smile Boxes. Each care package is filled with art supplies, colouring books, sketchbooks, markers and so much more. To date, 350 care packages have been distributed. Susan Hay has the story.
