‘Bomb cyclone’ brings rough winds, heavy rain to North America’s West Coast

Weather experts say a ‘bomb cyclone’ is coming in too fast and too furious, setting up a weather whiplash for parts of North America’s West Coast. In the United States, the storm is set to drop 300 millimetres on California, which has been suffering through severe drought and relentless wildfires. As Jennifer Johnson reports, residents are bracing for flash flooding, hurricane force winds and major mudslides.
