Global News Morning Peterborough: Local long-term care homes receive funding boost to help with staffing

Canadians coast to coast witnessed the deadly effects COVID-19 had on long-term care homes.

It was healthcare workers who saw those struggles firsthand.

The province says help is coming with $3.1 million in funding to be shared amongst five long-term care homes in our area.
