First Nations chief feels ‘frustration and anger’ amid Trudeau’s visit to Kamloops, B.C.

Shuswap National Tribal Council Chair, Kukpi7 Wayne Christia said on Monday that his reaction to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s visit to the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation in Kamloops, B.C. was one of “frustration and anger” towards Trudeau’s lack of commitment to concrete action towards solving Indigenous issues.
