More than one billion COVID-19 vaccines produced in the European Union have been exported to over 150 countries since December 2020, President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, said on Monday. “We have said that at least every second vaccine produced in the European Union will go abroad and we have reached that with this important milestone,” she stated.
