Essex police confirmed on Friday that a 25-year-old man was arrested and remains in custody on suspicion of murder after British MP David Amess was stabbed to death at a constituency meeting in a church in Leigh-on-Sea. “It will be for investigators to determine whether or not this may have been a terrorist incident. As always they will keep an open mind,” Essex Police Chief Constable Ben-Julian Harrington told reporters.
