“It’s a massive hit,” Indications suggest 2021 tourism season took bigger hit than 2020.

One of the hardest hit sectors by far by the COVID-19 pandemic is tourism. And for regions like the Okanagan, which rely heavily on tourism dollars, the impact is significant. And now there are indications that the 2021 tourism season was hit even more than 2020. As Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, tourism officials are strategizing on ways to help the industry recover from some major losses.
