Canada pushed to act to help Afghan interpreter and family stuck in Ukraine

After fleeing the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan, a former interpreter for the Canadian Forces, and his family, are stuck in the Ukraine, waiting in anguish for the Canadian government to grant him and his family asylum. As Crystal Goomansingh reports, there’s outrage over the fact Canada’s backlogged immigration process has left Jawed Ahmad Haqmal and his family to fend for themselves.
