Teton County coroner Dr. Brent Blue on Tuesday ruled that Gabby Petito died as a result of strangulation. Blue added the time of death is estimated to be three or four weeks before the remains were found. Petito disappeared during a months-long cross-country road trip with her fiancé Brain Laundrie, who police have called a person of interest in the case.
