Dozens of runners were rescued from a northern Utah mountain after they found themselves in dangerous winter weather, with some saying it was whiteout conditions. Questions are being raised why the race went on due to snow being in some mountain forecasts. The DC Peaks 50 “ultra marathon” was taking place and according to reports, organizers were not aware of the winter conditions developing higher up the mountain.
