Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met with an Afghan refugee family in Orleans, Ont. on Saturday and wrapped gift baskets for resettled families in the start to the Thanksgiving weekend. Trudeau also spoke with a man who had worked at Canada’s embassy in Kabul and about how the past few weeks have been since being evacuated to Canada, adding that Canadians were “so happy you are here” but acknowledged more still needs to be done.
