U.S. unemployment rate goes down to 4.8% for 1st time since March 2020

U.S. President Joe Biden said on Friday that the country’s unemployment rate went down below 5 per cent (to 4.8 per cent) for the first time since March 2020, hailing his administration’s “build back better” strategy to gain back lost jobs due to the pandemic.
