Delivery truck crashes in Port Hope area

The driver of a commercial motor vehicle walked away uninjured after his truck went in the ditch on Thursday in the Municipality of Port Hope.

The southbound vehicle went into the west ditch along County Road 65, landing on its side just north of the 4th Line, a few kilometres northwest of the Town of Port Hope.

The driver was uninjured. He told Northumberland OPP he was pulling to the side of the road to make a phone call when the vehicle crashed.
