Terraces popped up all over Montreal in 2021 as the city loosened regulations to help struggling restaurants. Now, despite concerns those same patios might not be allowed to return in 2022, the Plateau Mont-Royal borough is reassuring restaurant owners that their terraces will be allowed up again next year and that other boroughs will be flexible too.
