Member of Parliament for Timmins—James Bay Charlie Angus offered Prime Minister Justin Trudeau four recommendations on how to approach Indigenous reconciliation following Trudeau skipping out on Canada’s inaugural Truth and Reconciliation Day in favour of a beach outing with his family in Tofino, B.C. These recommendations include Trudeau ending a legal battle with indigenous children and the human rights tribunal, and addressing the miscarriage of justice against survivors of St. Anne’s residential school.
