One person was taken to hospital following a crash on Hwy. 401 near Grafton early Monday.
Emergency crews around 12:20 a.m. responded to the eastbound lanes for a crash just a kilometre west of the Grafton exit.
Firefighters had to extricate a person in a car which had collided with a transport truck.
The driver was transported to Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg.
The highway lanes were closed at Cobourg for approximately an hour while OPP investigated.
