It is Truth and Reconciliation Week and several Montreal schools are holding events to commemorate Indigenous culture and traditions. One group of students in a West Island school were introduced to an Inuit throat singer. As Global’s Phil Carpenter reports, it was an opportunity to learn more about a part of history that isn’t part of the regular school curriculum.
