CDC official is hopeful trick-or-treating this Halloween will be safe for children amid pandemic

Appearing on CBS’ program “Face the Nation,” Centers for Disease Control (CDC) director Dr. Rochelle Walensky spoke about Halloween safety this year amid the COVID-19 pandemic. She said she’s hopeful trick-or-treating in small groups outdoors will be safe, but advises people to avoid large parties.
