In a testy exchange with a reporter on Friday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki defended President Joe Biden’s decision not to visit the U.S.-Mexico border in Texas himself to get a firsthand account of the migrant situation, asking: “what would you like him to do at the southern border?” Psaki said Biden feels he can be most “constructive” by pushing forward immigration reform.
