New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs said on Friday that the province would be reinstating a state of emergency as COVID-19 cases in the province continue to climb. The state of emergency is in addition to public health measures that were put in place on Wednesday, including masking and proof of vaccination rules for certain events and businesses.
