Speaking on Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that U.S. President Joe Biden had spoken with French President Emmanuel Macron following a row with that country over AUKUS, a submarine deal between Australia, the U.S. and U.K, in which he acknowledged there could have been “more discussion” with France leading up to the announcement of the deal.
