Towers of magma burst high into the air overnight from the Cumbre Vieja volcano, as its lava poured along La Palma for the fourth day, destroying homes and land. Meanwhile, residents of the village of Llanos de Aridane on Wednesday helped clean up the volcanic dust covering the streets and vehicles of the village which had accumulated since Sunday’s volcanic eruption.
