Three people were taken to hospital after a dump truck collided with an ambulance in Trent Hills late Monday afternoon.
Northumberland OPP responded to the collision on County Road 45 and Concession 9 West south of Hastings around 4:40 p.m.
Police say an ambulance was making a three-point turn when the southbound dump truck took evasive action to avoid a collision.
However, it strong the front passenger side of the ambulance, sending the truck into a ditch.
There were no patients aboard the ambulance at the time.
Two paramedics and the dump truck driver were taken to Campbellford Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.
