Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Conservative Party of Canada Leader Erin O’Toole outlined his thoughts on the Canadian media landscape, saying that in his opinion “the CBC needs to change” because a publicly-funded broadcaster shouldn’t compete with private sector media companies who are “hanging on by a thread.”
