Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau said on Thursday that it’s “absolutely unacceptable” that some people could be above the law because of their rank, following the news that Gen. Jonathan Vance won’t face any charges as military police ended investigation into his sexual misconduct allegations. Trudeau didn’t provide an answer why his government didn’t implement recommendations made by Justice Fish report, but rather said there needs to be “deep structural changes” in the military.
