United States President Joe Biden has “complete confidence” in top U.S. General Mark Milley, the White House said on Wednesday after a report that he twice made calls to his Chinese counterpart over concerns then-President Donald Trump could spark a war with China – calls that happened allegedly without Trump’s knowledge. Press secretary Jen Psaki said Wednesday that Biden has confidence in Milley’s “leadership, his patriotism and his fidelity to our Constitution.”
