British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Tuesday that the government had scrapped plans for a mandatory COVID-19 vaccine passport system for entry into nightclubs and crowded outdoor and indoor events in England, though he cautioned it wasn’t completely off the table. Johnson also announced a COVId-19 vaccine booster shot program for those over 50 and people under 50 considered at higher risk for COVID-19.
