Birmingham police officer commandeers bicycle to apprehend suspect

A quick-thinking police officer commandeered a man’s bike to pursue a suspect in Birmingham, England, on August 31, according to video released by West Midlands Police. Video from PC Tom Harris’s body-worn camera shows him exiting his and running up a grass path before asking a man if he could borrow his bike. Harris is then seen cycling to catch the suspect, whom he handcuffs and places under arrest.
