Peterborough police say no one was injured after responded to a distraught person in a vehicle in a Walmart parking lot on Sunday.
Around 8 a.m., officers responded to the parking lot along Lansdowne St. and The Parkway where a woman remained inside a vehicle.
A section of the parking lot was cordoned off as officers talked with the woman.
Around noon, the emergency response team with tactical medics were able to safely take the person into custody.
The individual was transported to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for evaluation.
