Canada election: Trudeau says Liberals working to end blood donation restrictions for gay men

Liberal Party Leader Justin Trudeau on Friday defended his party’s work to end the ban on blood donation for gay men, saying he expects Canadian Blood Services will announce an end to the ban soon. Trudeau said his party funded research on the topic and will continue its efforts to bring an end to the restriction.
