An 80-lb cougar being kept as a pet was safely removed from a New York City home, the Wildlife Conservation Society said. Eleven-month-old Sasha was taken to the Bronx Zoo after the removal on Aug. 26, where she received treatment before being sent to Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, in Arkansas, for “lifelong care.”
