Canada election: Trudeau outlines main planks of 2021 Liberal campaign platform

Speaking to reporters and party supporters on Wednesday, Liberal leader Justin Trudeau unveiled his party’s 2021 election platform including $78 billion in new spending, more than three times the direct new revenues promised over the next five years.
