Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau responded to questions Monday after the Conservative Party asked a candidate to withdraw following a sexual assault allegation. “Canadians deserve to know the people standing up to represent them, to serve them in the House of Commons,” he told reporters. Troy Myers was running for the Conservatives in the riding of Dartmouth-Cole Harbour and has been accused on a social media post of sexual assault that allegedly took place in 2019.
